Fat Tuesday production of Body Positivity by Alli Hartley-Kong, Poseidon and the Sea Nymph by Scott C. Sickles, and Skin by Lydia Moss.
Directed by Eileen TullFat Tuesdays is a reading series exploring stories by or about fat creatives, featuring work from playwrights all over the country. From February 13th - March 19th these staged readings will be presented by Chicagoans to interrogate and celebrate what it means to live in a body.
These three short plays explore hard conversations between family, strangers, and self when it comes to the size a body "should" be.
This event takes place at the North Lakeside Cultural Center, formerly known as the Gunder Mansion; located just north of the Berger Fieldhouse within Berger Park.
This space is not wheelchair accessible.
