Description
Start the adventure of a lifetime by learning to sail this summer! The WYC Youth Foundation Junior Sail Program has been 'making sailors' for more than 50 years. Safety is a priority. Staff members are certified First Aid/CPR/AED, NASBLA Boating Safety and CDC Heads-Up Concussion Training. Instructors are U.S. Sailing Level 1 certified. Participants must wear closed-toed shoes. Life vests, boats, and safety equipment are provided. This is a contractual program. Adventure Sail: Adventure Sail teaches beginners to rig and sail small boats in the protected waters of Waukegan Harbor. Experienced sailors hone skills on Lake Michigan. Full days are available by registering for both AM and PM classes.
