Dawson County Swim Team is a great introduction to competition swim for youth ages 5-18 years age.
Swim practice is Monday-Thursday 8-9:30 am @

Dawson County Swim Team swims in the North Ga Swim League against 15 other teams within the North Ga area. The meets are mostly on Saturdays in June with some exceptions for meets outside our League, such as GRPA District and State meets. Drive time to pools hosting league meets could be up to an hour depending on location. Meet schedule TBA and posted closer to summer. There is no requirement for participation in swim meets if trianing is the goal for summer swim instead of competition.
Team Requirements
- Swimmers age 5-10 yreas of age must swim 25 yrds (1 lap)
- Swimmers age 11-18 years of age must swim 50 yrds (2 laps)
- Must participate in 3 practices per week for eliglbility to swim meets
- Must participate in 3 NGSL meets for eligibilty to qualify for League Championship and District/State meets.
- Provide birth certificate for swimmer
- Parents must volunteer to time for 2 NGSL meets and home meet. (WE NEED YOU! ...this is for the kids and we can not facilitate the swim meets without volunteers!)
