Finishing the Challenge
While some might think he’d be in a hurry to finish what he started, Feinberg says he's not rushing.
"I'm enjoying the adventure," he says. "[Though] scheduling is the toughest part, I do have a fear that this quest will come to an end one day, and I will miss the lifestyle of trying to find races to run."
For this exact reason, the Run 169 Towns Society often has repeat members who start over after crossing the 169th finish line.
Feinberg may not be opposed to the idea of being a multiple society finisher, but for now, he's enjoying every moment as he explores Connecticut one race at a time.
Feinberg's Favorite Running Fuel
"As a web engineering manager for Subway, there was no question about what I would use to fuel my running," Feinberg says. "As a company, Subway strives to help people eat better, and I truly believe in their commitment to honor this goal. With fresh veggies and proteins, I was able to eat better on-the-go than if I had packed my food myself."
He's a fan of the sub chain's egg-white flatbread for breakfast, and digs into a veggie-patty sandwich with vegetables and barbecue sauce for lunch or dinner.
